HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022 Resolution No. 0221 RESOLUTION NO. 22 SERIES OF 2022 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES FOR THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD. WHEREAS, City Council wishes to appoint members to boards, commissions and committees for the City of Englewood; WHEREAS, the names of members and the boards, commissions and committees they will be representing, with term expiration dates are below; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to express its gratitude for the volunteerism and service these individuals have agreed to provide to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, hereby approves the following persons for appointment to boards, commissions and committees to serve at the request of the City Council effective July 1, 2021: 1. Budget Advisory a. Josh Newell – Regular July 7, 2025 b. Bill Lesage – Regular July 7, 2025 2. Code Enforcement Advisory Committee a. Edy Hughes – Regular July 1, 2024 b. Rick Emmelhainz - Regular July 1, 2024 c. Michael Chisholm – Regular July 1, 2024 3. Cultural Arts Commission a. Stacy Pottish - Regular July 7, 2025 b. Amy Fox – Regular July 7, 2025 c. Toni-Rae Charles – Youth July 3, 2023 4. Englewood Downtown Development Authority a. Blake Calvert – Regular May 31, 2026 b. Hugo Weinberger – Regular May 31, 2026 5. Englewood Housing Authority a. Pursuant to EMC 2-13A-1, alternate members appointed herein are permitted to vote and meet quorum requirements when serving in the place of a regular member not in attendance at such meeting. Moreover, unless the by-laws of the board or commission or applicable law require otherwise, in the event of a vacancy, any board, commission, or committee may notify the City Clerk that it will elevate an alternate member to a regular, voting board member position to fill the remaining term of the vacant position.
