1 Call to Order
The special meeting of the Englewood City Council was called to order by Mayor
Sierra at 6:00 p.m.
2 Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Sierra.
The Invocation was given by Council Member Anderson.
3 Roll Call
4 Use of City Right of Way by Third Parties
a) City Attorney Tamara Niles and Deputy Director of Engineering and Asset
Management Tim Hoos were present to discuss the Use of City Right of Way
by Third Parties.
Due to technical difficulties, City Council took a five-minute break.

The meeting recessed at 6:25 p.m. for a break.
The meeting reconvened at 6:30 p.m. with all Council Members present.
5 Outreach & Communication Plan for Organized Garbage & Recycling Collection
Initiative
a) Public Works Director Maria D'Andrea was present to discuss the
consideration of an Outreach and Communications Plan for the Organized
Garbage & Recycling Collection Initiative.
6 Break
The meeting recessed at 8:00 p.m. for a break.
The meeting reconvened at 8:10 p.m. with all Council Members present.
7 Reserving Parking Spaces for Veterans
a) Assistant City Manager Tim Dodd was present to discuss dedicating parking
spaces throughout the City for veterans.
8 City Council Policy Manual Discussion
a) City Attorney Tamara Niles was present to review the Council policy manual.
9 Reports from Board and Commission Council Liaisons
10 Council Member’s Choice
a) Travel Request for Council Member Woodward
Moved by Council Member Chelsea Nunnenkamp
Seconded by Council Member Joe Anderson
Motion approving travel for Council Member Woodward to Washington D.C. for
the Annual NLC Congressional City Conference, March 13-16, 2022.
