The regular meeting of the Englewood City Council was called to order by Mayor
Sierra at 6:01p.m.

6 Appointments, Communications, Proclamations, and Recognition
a) Arbor Day Proclamation - Presented by Parks Supervisor Adrian Torres and
will introduce the new Assistant City Forester Evan Anderson.
A Proclamation Declaring April 15th, 2022 as Arbor Day within the City of
Englewood and encouraging all residents to support efforts to care for our
trees and woodlands was read into the record and was accepted by Open
Space Manager Dave Lee and Assistant City Forester Evan Anderson.
b) Earth Day Proclamation - Presented by Sustainability Coordinator Melissa
Englund.
A Proclamation Declaring Friday, April 22, 2022, in the City of Englewood,
national and international celebration of “Earth Day” was read into the record.

a) Patty Meek, an Englewood resident, addressed Council regarding greenhouse
gas emissions and the importance of composting.
b) Kevin Wright, an Englewood resident, addressed Council regarding the single
trash hauler issue.
c) Kim Wright, an Englewood resident, addressed Council regarding the single
trash hauler issue.
d) Brenda Hubka, an Englewood resident, addressed Council regarding the
single trash hauler issue.
e) Danielle Carr, an Englewood resident, addressed Council regarding the single
trash hauler issue.
8 Recognition of Unscheduled Public Comment
a) Fara Zierke, an Englewood resident, addressed Council regarding a youth
council.

Mayor Sierra responded to Public Comment.
The meeting recessed at 7:05 p.m. for a break.
The meeting reconvened at 7:16 p.m. with all Council Members present.

Agenda.
