RESOLUTION NO. 42
SERIES OF 2021
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL SALARY FOR THE
CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, Article VII, Section 49 of the Englewood Home Rule Charter places
responsibility for establishing the salary for the City Manager with the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Article IX, Part I, Section 64 of the Englewood Home Rule Charter
places responsibility for establishing the salary of the City Attorney with the City Council;
and
WHEREAS , on September 13, 2021, the City Council conducted a performance
review of the City Manager and City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, City Council approved the 2022 City of Englewood budget, which
included a 3.5 percent increase in City employee salaries; and
WHEREAS, in order to increase the salary of the City Manager and City Attorney
in accordance with the approved budget as it applies to the salaries of all City employees,
City Council must specifically authorize the salary increase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. The annual salary for the City Manager and City Attorney shall be
increased by 3.5 percent commencing with the first pay period of January, 2022.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of December, 2021.
