Section 24-6402(4 )(e ); City Attorney contract negotiations. Moved by Council Member Linda Olson Seconded by Council Member Othoniel Sierra MOTION TO MOVE INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING POSITIONS RELA T/VE TO MATTERS THAT MAY BE SUBJECT TO NEG OT/A TIONS, DEVELOPING STRATEGY FOR NEG OT/A T/ONS, AND/OR INSTRUCT/NG NEGOTIATORS, UNDER C.R.S. SECTION 24-6402(4)(E); FOR CITY ATTORNEY CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS. The meeting recessed at 6:04 p.m. to go into Executive Session. The Executive Session was held by teleconference. The meeting reconvened at 6:51 p.m. with all six Council Members present. Mayor Olson recited the following statement: For the record, if any person who participated in the executive session believes that any substantial discussion of any matters not included in the motion to go into the executive session occurred during the executive session, or that any improper action occurred during the executive session in violation of the Open Meetings Law, I would ask that you state your concerns for the record. For Against Abstained Linda Olson (Moved By) x Othoniel Sierra x Joe Anderson x Rita Russell x Steven Ward (Seconded By) x Cheryl Wink x 6 0 0 Motion CARRIED. 5 Monthly Financial Update -Information a) Director of Finance Jackie Loh was present to discuss the monthly financial update. 6 Polco Dog Park Survey Findings -Information and Direction a) Director of Parks, Recreation, Library, and Golf Christina Underhill and a representative of Palco were present to discuss the survey findings from the Englewood Dog Park Survey. 7 Break The meeting recessed at 7:54 p.m. for a break. The meeting reconvened at 8:00 p.m. with five Council Members present. The absent being Member Wink. Member Wink returned to the meeting at 8:02 p.m. Page 3 of 4 City Council Special Meeting April 26, 2021 8 Consideration of a Local Improvement District for Alley Paving • Direction a) Director of Public Works Maria D'Andrea and Capital Projects & Engineering Manager Tim Hoos were present to discuss creation of a local improvement district for alley paving in the 3900 block between Broadway and Acoma Street. 9 Covid-19 Update 10 Reports from Board and Commission Council Liaisons 11 Council Member's Choice a) Council discussed future start times for upcoming meetings and meeting preferences of Council members. 12 City Manager's Choice 13 City Attorney's Choice 14 Adjournment Roll call was taken to adjourn the meeting -Six Ayes.
