The Special/Regular meeting of the Englewood City Council was called to order by
Mayor Olson at 5:38 p.m. and held by teleconference.

a) Police Chief John Collins was present with Deputy Cheif Sam Watson and
Police Sergeant Chad Read to discuss the community report on policing in
Englewood with a panel of speakers from the community including Organizing
Director at Denver Alliance for Street Health Response Vinnie Cervantes,
Assistant Professor/Law Enforcement Instructor Dr. Paul Taylor, Executive
Director at Servicios De La Raza Rudy Gonzales, and District Attorney George
Brauchler from the 18th Judicial District of Colorado.
The meeting recessed at 7:29 p.m. for a break.
The meeting reconvened at 7:34 p.m. with all Council Members present.

Council Member Russell removed Agenda Item 9(c)(i) from Consent Agenda.

i) City Council discussed mandating face masks.

Motion to direct City Manager Lewis, in accordance with Ordinance 10,
Series 2020, to mandate masks to be worn in Englewood businesses,
government offices, and public transit. The mandate will take effect
Thursday, July 9, 2020.
