lntergov emm,n1al t,r,reemenr be,, ccn the City of Englewood and Arapahoe County by pa ssage
ufOrdinance No. 39 , Series of 1994, covering the City's panicipation in the Arnpa.,ae County
CDBG Entitlement Program as extended by Amen<lmen• Nu . J, fo, funding years 2Q 1J4 lluough
2006; and
\VHERE.'\S 1 the Cn g lcwood City Council p:tsscd Ordinnnce No. 13, Seri~s of 2006 ond that
was modified by Amendment No. I dated February , 2007 relating to participation m the Urban
County Entitlement Program forCDBG and HOME funds for 200 7 through 2009; and
\\~ IEREAS , the Englewood City Council passed Ordinance No . 38 , Series of 2006
authorizing Amendment No . I to the Urban Co unt y Entlll cmcnt Prugram fo r CDBG and HOME
funds for 2007 throug h 2009; and
WHEREAS , the Englewood City Council passed Ordinance No. 22, Series of 2009
amhorizirq panicipation in the Urban County Entitlement Pro gra m fo r C DBG and HOME funds
for 2010 through 2012: and
WHEREA S, the passage of this Ordinance authorizes the execution of a three-year
lntergoverr.rnen tal Cooperation Agreement betwee n Ara pahoe County and Englewood :elating 10
the co ndu ct of Co nununity Development Blo ck Grant (CDBGJ and HOME Investment
Panne ,s hi p (HOME) programs for program grant years 2013 throu gh 2015 : anJ
WHEREAS , the Community Developmeut Bl 0 ck Grant (CDBG) and HOME lnvcstmem
Panncrshi p (!JOME) programs incorporate funds Jon the U.S. Depanment of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD).
