BACKGROUND, ANALYSIS, AND ALTERNATIVES IDENTIFIED The City of Eng ewood has used the National Electrical Code as a model construction code since 197 1 and updates this code periodically to keep pace with changing construction technology. Th e Building and Safety staff has reviewed the National Electrical Code 2Q11 and rec ommends adoption.
