QUESTIONS IN TRE NOVEMBER ELECTION .

WHEREAS, Englewood School District vote rs are being asked to give Lbe District pcrmi s&ion
10 sell bonds and raise property laxes 10 repay lhe bonds; aud
WHEREAS, plans arc lo use $~2 million from bonds 10 tum the cUCTenl Englewood High
School into a 21" century campu s for seventh though twelfth graders; and
\\~-IEREAS, the remaining $8 million will :>c used to co ver about half the anti cipated cost of
renov<1ti11g Englewood Middle School so it can ',e the new location of Colorad o's Finest

WHEREAS , a separate ballot question will ask voters to approve an in crease in the property

WHEREAS, additional money for day -to-day operations is needed to offset state funding cuts ;
and
WHEREAS, programs for youth are a priority of the Englewood City Council; ll!ld
