CERTIFICATES OF REGISTRATi:)N FOR THE crrv OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO.
WHERE ... S, the Englewood City Cc~ncil amended Ti tle 5, Chapter 7 of the Englewood Municipal
Code penaining to Contractor Licensing ·•·ith the pas;age of C. B. 74, Series 2011 ; and
WHEREAS, Section 5-7-10 ofC. B. 74 , Sc-rics of201 I states that license fees and ccnificatc of
registration fees for this Chapter shall be drtcnnined by resolution; and
WHEREAS, t~c passage of this proposed Resolution establishes the Contractor Licenses and
Ccnificates of Registrat ion Fees for the City of Englewood, Colorado;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE cn-v COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO , THAT:
~-The City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado hereby authorizes the set:ing
of Contractor Licenses and Certificate.< of Registration Fees. as follows:

COUNCIL GOAL AND PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Ordinance to amend EMC Title 5.7 and increase contractor licensing fees was ap~rcved at the
Councll Meeting un o~c~111 ue1 5, 2011.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
EMC Section 5.7 .10 calls for Council to determine and set license and certif:cates of reg'stration
fees by resolution . St~ff ,ecommends increasing all contractor license fees by twenty-five dollars
(S25 .00j.
BACKGROUND, ANAL \"SIS, AND ALTERNATIVES IDENTIFIED:
Licens'? fees have not been increased since 1985, whi le costs of processin g licenses and
maintaining these records have increased.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Increasing fees by t\~enty-fove dollars (i25.00) w,11 increase revenues by approximately $31 ,000.00 .
