for fiscal year 2010 was $15,666 and was included in the Englewood Police Department 's matching •
funds in their annual budget ,
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO , THAT:

wi th the authori ty to improve, construct , mainta in . repair, contro l, regulate , and operate
the JAC within a cei:tra li zed locat ion (s) witl1 in the 18th Judicial Dis1ri ct for the use and
be nefit of the parties to this Agree ment rnd their constitue nts. The panies hereto funher
ag ree th e JAC Board shall have the authority reasonable and nec essary to carry out th e

a. The JAC sball keep a re co rd of the numb er of Ju venile s refen·ed
or tra nsp orte d to the JAC by each Law Enfo rc ement pa rty
during each full calendar year (the "Law Enforcement Partie s
Usage Number").
b. All of tl1e Law Enforcement Pa rty Usage Numbers for the
Three-Ye ar Usage Period wi ll be added together (th e "Three-
y cru: Jot al Usage Num ber"). Each Law Enforce ment Parties'

B. FE E BASED COKTRIBUTION : The parties agree that the Board shall
have the pc.wer to set fees for non-party referred juveniles , which rr.ay be waived
by the JAC Exec uti ve 'i:i.lrect _or so long as said waivers arc applied in a co nsistent
manner and according to applicab le laws in cluding anti-discriminat:on laws.

consider for appropriation the amounts co:nputed as se t forth annually which are to be

pay ments to th e JAC pursu ant to this Agreement arc, however , su bj ec t to annu al
appro priation by th e parties here to in th e mann er required by statute or ordinance. II

be allowed by the Agrcc mc pt.

written not ice to be given to the govern in g body of the party of the Board's in tention
to termina te said Agreeme nt as to such pa11y in defau lt , unies s s uch de fau lt is cured
wi thin thirty (30) days fro m th e date of such notice. Ab se nt tim ely cure said
dcfau ltin ~ pany sha ll thereafter be denied service b,· th e jAC.
VI I. TERM . RENEWAL AND TE RMIJ\'ATION OF AGR_EE MEN T
