WHEREAS, the Eng lewood Cit y Counci l approved Reso luti on No. 34 , Series of2009 authori zing the Ci ty lo appl y lo the Department of Loca l Affairs , Co lorado Division of Housing for a porti on of Arapahoe Coun ty's allocation of the Federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds (NSP I); and WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 37, Seri .,: of2009 authori zing the executi on of a co ntract for Ne ighborh ood Stabili zati on Program g. ·11 1 funding between the St ate of Co lora do Department of Loca l Affa irs and the City of Englewood; and WHEREAS, the Ci ty Counci l npp roved Ord inance No. 49 , Serie s of 2009 authorizing th e purchase of ten (10) unidentified , sin gle-family, vaca nt , forec losed pro perti es located in the eligible cens us tracts through out the City of Eng lewood to fu lfill th e NSP I co ntract wi th the Co lorad o Department of Loca l Affairs; and WHEREAS, the Ci ty Co un ci l approved Ordinance No. 27 , Series of 20 I 0, authori zing an amendment to the NSP I co ntract budget to purcha se up to three (3) addit io nal unid enti fied single family, vacant , foreclo sed properti es located in th e eligible ce nsus tra cts througho ut tl1e City of Englewood to fulfill the NS PI Contrac t with the ('n'orado Department of Loca l Affairs; and WHEREAS , six such propert ies are al most read y to be so ld lo priva te partie s who will secure the ir own fin ancing; and WHEREAS, if an offer to pu rcha se is received from any Ci ty empl oyee, their fam il y members , or any business in which a Ci ty emp loyee has a financia l interest , such offer will be sub11Utt ed 10 the Englewood City Council for ap prova l; NO W, TH --:REFOllE , BE IT ORDAI NED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ITY OF ENG LEWO D, COLO RADO, AS FOLLOWS : Section I.
