Ms. Powers ~tated the proposal amends the Zoning Ordinance on variances for sign . Ms . Powers stated the cr ite r ia outlined in the ordinance would provide the Boa r d of Ad- ju stme nt s and Appeals a s t andard by which to approve o r den y vari a nces for sig n s . Ms. Powers stated the Plann ing and Zon'ng Com mission he ld a public h eari ng on thi s matter and recommends approval of the amendment. Ms. Powers stated the Board of Adjust- ments and Appeals also rec omme nd s approval . The publi bh er's affidavi t was submitted a s proof th e no ti ce of hearing was prope r ly pu blished.
