The City Council of the City of Englewood, Arapahoe
County, Colorado, met in regular aeaaion on January 5, 1981,
at 7:30 p.rt.
Mayor Otia, presiding, called the meeting to order.
The invocation waa given by Reverend Francis Kappes,
All Soula Catholic Church, 4950 South Logan Street. The pledge
of allegiance waa led by loy Scout Troop No. 92.
Mayor Otia aaked for roll call. Upon a call of the
roll, the following were preaent:

Bilo seconded the rr.otion.
Council Merr.ber Higday stated hia nay vote to Resolu-
tion No. 52, Series of 1980, the poll appearing on page 3 of
the aforertention rtinutea, waa not that he disagreed with the
salary set for the City Manager or the Municipal Judge but
disagreed with the salary aet for the Associate Judge.

urged that council paaa legislation to loan $180,000 to the
Authority for an elderly houaing project.

MEETING ON JANUARY 12, 1981, AT 5:00 P.M. TO CONSIDER A BILL
FOR AN ORDINANCE TO ENTER IRTO A CONTRACT FOR A $180,000 LOAN
TO THE ENGLEWOOD HOUSING AUTHORITY. Council Member Keena sec-
onded the motion. Upon a call of the roll, the vote resulted

both at 3141 South Santa Fe were present. They represented
widening of Santa Fe and how it will necessitate them to re-
locate. They presented sOfte problena they were experiencing
in trying to relocate and asked for Council's help in finding
a place to move their trailers.

structed to research the problen and report back to them.

Council Menber Neal instructed staff to make cer-
tain the definitions of bicycle trail, land, and path were
the sa111e as those of DRCOG and there would be no discre-
pancy in the ordinance.

Cit7 Manager Mccown noted a change in the bill on page 4
under (15) (a), aecond line. Mr. Mccown asked to delete "and for I
any new use eatabliahed:" Mr. Mccown atated this stat~ent could
be broadly interrupted to aay that anytirte a building changed use
even though there waa not change in parking requirements, the City
would have to require bicyle facilitiea.
Council Member Keena aaked that Planning and Zoning

posed the question of recall and second to fill the vacancy
if the council person waa recalled.
