The invocation waa fiven by Council Member ThOIDas Fitzpatrick. The pledge of a legiance was led by Mayor Otis. Mayor Otia aaked for roll call. Upon a call of the roll, the following were preaent: . Council Member• Bigday, Real, Fitzpatrick, lilo, Bradabav, Otia. Abaent: Council Member lteena. Council Member lteena. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Mr. Tom Burna, 3600 South Bannock, Chairman of the Englewood Housing Authority, appeared before Council and urged passage of the council bill approving the loan. January 12, 1981 Page 2 ORDINANCE NO. SERIES OF 1981 BY AUTHORITY A BILL FOR COUHCIL BILL NO. 22 IRTRODUCED BY COUNCIL MEMBER BRADSHAW AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE LOAN TO THE ERGL!WOD HOUSING AUTHORITY BY 'ftlE CITY OF ENGLEWOD IN THE SUM OF $180,000 SECURED BY A DEED OF TRUST ARD DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. COUNCIL MEMBER BRADSHAW !«>VED TO PASS COUNCIL BILL NO. 22, SERIES OF 1981, OH FIRST READING. Council Member Bilo seconded the motion. Council Member Neal stated the money was being taken from the Public Improvement Fund and instructed staff to let Council know if any projects in the PIF would be delayed as a result of this action. Upon a call of the roll, the vote resulted aa follows: Ayes: Nays: Absent: Council Members Higday, Neal, Fitzpatrick, Bilo, Bradshaw, Otis. None. Council Member Keena.
