A RESOL lJl'I O APPOINTI NG TEA LEE HI NGE R AS AN ALTERNATE MEMB ER TO
THE CO DE ENFORCEMENT ADV ISORY C MMl'ITEE FOR TH E CITY OF
ENGLEWOO D.
WHEREAS, the Eng lewood Code Enfo rceme nt Advisory Co mmitt ee wa s estnb lishcd by the
Englewood Ci ty Counc il with th e passage of Ordinance No. 71, Series of 1997 ; and
WHEREAS, the Code Enforcemen t Advisory Committee is an ad visory commi tt ee foc used on
the activities and services of co de enforcement and regu latory processes of lhc Neighbo rhood
Services secti on of the De partm ent of Safet y Services, the Co mmitt ee makes recommendati ons to
Ci ty Council and to the City Manager or designee for imp rovements relating to th e Neighborhood
Services in the Cit y; and
WHEREAS , Tealee Hinger has grac ious ly offered to serve on th e City of Eng lewood's bonrds
an d commiss ions; and
WHEREAS, City Council has requested stnff to send this alt ern ate memb er packet s for the
Board she will be serving on so thai. she can main tain an understandin g of the current issues and
rul es ; and
• \vHEREAS, whi le the alternate will not be able to vo te at the meetings, she is ne verthel ess
requested to att end as ma ny meetings as possib le to ge t n fee l for th t: membe rshi p and issues; and

WHEREAS , Council wishes to cxpre.'is its gratitu de for the vo lunt eeri sm and service
th at this individu al wis hes to bestow upo n the Cit y;
NOW , THEREFORE . BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNC lL OF TH E CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD , COLO RAD O, THAT:
