A RESOLUTION AMEND ING RESOLUTION N . 60. SERIES F 11/90, FOR TH E
ADOPT ION OF A POLI CY CONCERN ING T HE USE F FF I 'E SU t'PLIES AND CITY
STAFF BY CITY COUN CILPERSONS .
WHEREAS, each City Counci lperso n has a need from tim e 10 time for the use of office
supplies, needs copies made and distri but ed 10 various Cily de panmcnts and Olhcr on nci l
perso ns; and
WH EREAS, eac h Ci ty Co un ci l person is expected 10 correspond wi 1h ci tize ns and others
during his/her term of office ; and
WHEREA S, each City Co uncil reco gnizes that ii has not uppropriu lcd funds to hire Cit y staff
for Coun ci l secretari al use, and rfoes not im end to provide sec retaria l assistance to Counci l
members, except upon an occas ional bas is;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RES OLV ED BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOO D, COLORADO, adopt th e coun ci l po li cy on th e use of offi ce surpli o, and cil y
sec retari al staff shall be a:; fo llows:

and oth er suppli es as may be reaso nabl y req uired from time to tim e. Office eq uipme nt.

co mpos ing lett ers, or answeri ng mail , send ing thank yo u1s or answ erin g que rie s or ot her
sec retari al duties , except upo n an occas iona l bas is. Each Co unc ilperson shall be ex pec ted 10 take
care of hi s/her own c~rrespond cnce without Cit y sec relaria l assis tance . Add res sed lett ers bro ughl
