J i t . .• f ORDINANCE NO. fl ,,a SERIES OF 198~ BY AUTHORITY COUNCIL BILL NO. 85 IN'l'RODUCBD BY COUNCIL MBllBBR NEAL ------- AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR ALL MUNICIPAL PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF BNGLBWOOD, COLORADO, IN THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1982 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1982, CONSTITUTING WHAT IS TERMED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, TllBRBFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BNGLBWOOD, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That there be and there hereby is appropriated from the revenue deriving from taxation in the City of Englewood, Colorado, frCID collection of license fees and from all other sources of revenue during the year beginning January 1, 1982 and ending December 31, 1982, the amounts hereinafter set forth for the object and purpoae apecified and set opposite thereto, specifically as followa, t ~ wits Leqialation and Council Municipal Court Administration Public Works Fire Police Co111111unity Development Library Parks and Recreation General Fund Total Operating Transfer to PIF Total Public Improvement Fund Construction of Major Capital Projects Water Enterprise Fund Total Water Enterprise Fund $ 378,118 275,260 1,420,055 2,594,882 2,600,035 3,649,879 594,499 443,106 1,966,760 13,922,594 1,439,216 $15,361,810 $ 2,415,216 $ 3,005,484 • • • ... The foregoing appropriations shall be considered to be appropriations to groups within a program or department within the fund indicated but shall not be construed to be appropriation to line items within any groups, even though such line items may be set forth as the adopted budget for the fiscal year 1982 • Section 3. All monies in the hands of the Director of Finance, or to come into his hands for the fiscal year 1982, may be applied on the outstanding claims now due or to become due in the said fiscal year of 1982. Section 4. All unappropriated monies that may come into the hands of the Director of Finance during the year 1982 may be ao distributed among the respective funds herein as the City Council may deem best under such control as is provided by law. Section 5. During or at the close of the fi,cal year of 1181, any surplus money in any of the respective funds, after all claiaa for 1911 against the same have been paid, may be distributed to any other fund or funds at the discretion of the City Council. Section 6. That the health, safety and welfare of the City require that Ehla Ordinance be paaaed as an emergency measure in order that the oper•tion of government proceed; this Ordinance shall beOOlle effective upon its final passage according to the Charter of the City of Bn9lewood.
