HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977 Ordinance No. 019• • • INTRODUCED AS A BILL BY COUNCILMAN MANN BY AUTHORITY ORDINANCE NO. 19 , SERIES OF 1977 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 48, CHAPTER 3, TITLE XV OF T HE 1 9 69 ENGLEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE ELIMINATING THE REQUIRE- MENT OF A NOZZLE OR A MINIMUM APERTURE IN THE SPRINKLING OF GARDE NS, LAWNS AND THE WASHIHG OF SIDEWALKS. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 . That Section 48, Chapter 3, Title XV of the 1969 Engle- wo od Munici pal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 15 -3 -4 8: WASTE OF WATER. Water shall be used only for bene- ficial pu rposes and shall never be wasted. Water shall not be left running to keep pipes from freezing. Water for irri- g at ion of l awns shall only be used during the hours and in t he manner specified by the Director of Utilities.
