ORDINANCE NO. --1ffL._, SERIES OF 1974
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF WEST NASSAU AVENUE,
LYING EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF SOUTH KALAMATH
STREET, LYING AND BEING WITHIN THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD,
ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLO~DO.
WHEREAS, there presently exists a public street
lying east of South Kalamath Street, known as West Nassau
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the public street requested
to be vacated lies entirely within the City of Englewood and
has no known boundry with any other political subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning CoDDilission of the
City of Englewood, did on the.20th day of February, 1974
recoDDilend that a portion of said West Nassau Avenue be
vacated, retaining, however, certain easements as herein-
after more particularly described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, as follows:
Section 1.
That the following described public street located
within the City of Englewood, Arapahoe County, Colorado,
known as West Nassau Avenue, lying east of South Kalamath
Street be and the same is hereby vacated:
Parcel 1.
Beginning at the southwest corner of Block 30,
Logandale,also being the southwest corner of
Lot 24 and the northeast corner of Kalamath
Street and West Nassau Avenue intersection;

th~nce east along the south line of said Lot
24 a distance of 125.00 feet to the southeast
corner of said Lot 24 and the southeast cor-
ner of Block 30 as platted; thence on an
exterior angle to the right and to the south-
west of 135°00', a distance of 25.46 feet, to
a point 18 feet south of the south line of Lot
24; thence West and parallel to the south line
of Lot 24 a distance of 107.00 feet to a point
on the east line of South Kalamath Street ex-
tended; ·thence north along said east line ex-
tended 18.00 feet to the point of beginning;
retaining, however, for the City of Englewood,
an easement across the triangular area fonned
by a line being drawn between points located
18 feet north and 25 feet east of the southwest
corner of the above-described tract. Said tract
contains 2088 sq. ft.
Parcel 2.
Comnencing at the southwest corner of Block
30, Logandale; thence south 42.00 feet along
the east line of South Kalamath Street extended
to the true point of beginning; thence east
and parallel to the south line of said Block
30 a distance of 125.00 feet; thence south
and parallel to the east line of South Kalamath
Street extended 18.00 feet to a point on the
south line of West Nassau as it now exists,
also being the north line of vacated Block 37,
Logandale; thence west along said north line of
vacated Block 37, Logandale, 125.00 feet to its
point of intersection with the east line of
South Kalamath Street; thence north 18.00 feet
alorig the extended east line of South Kalamath
Street to the true point of beginning; retaining,
however, for the City of Englewood, an easement
across the triangular area formed by a line being
drawn between points located 18 feet south and
25 feet east of the northwest corner of the above-
described tract. Said tract contains 2250 sq. ft.
