That Title V, Chapter 4, Section 1 or the 1969 E.M.C is hereby repealed and reenacted with .. encblent• to read as tollows: '·4-1 AJllUAL LIAVI (VACATIOl)1 ACCRUAL; QUALIFICATIONS (a) All eaplo7ees in the classified service, except those employees classi- fied under Sections 5-6-9 and 5-6-10 (Police and Fire Departments), workin1 a 40-hour week, shall be entitled to one hundred twenty (120) hours ot annual leave each 7ear. Annual leave shall accumulate monthly at the rate ot ten (10) hours per month ot active service. In order to qualit7 tor annual leave credit durin1 the month, the employee must receive pa7 tor at least one-halt (1/2) ot the working days or that month. Annual leave •hall not be 1ranted to any emplo7ee until he has been in the employ ot the Cit7 tor at least six (6) consecutive months. Such leave shall be accuaulated to a aaxiaua accuJulation or one hundred ninety-two (192) hours. (b) All eaplo7ees classified under Sections 5-6-9 and '-6-10 (Police and Fire Departaents), workin1 a 40-hour week, shall be entitled to ninety-six (96) hour• ot annual leave each year. Annual leave shall accumulate monthly at the rate ot ei1ht (8) hours per each month ot active service. In order to qualit7 tor annual leave credit durnng the month, the employee auat receive pay tor at least one-halt (1/2) or the working days of that •onth. Annual leave •hall not be 1rented to any employee until he has been in the eaplo7 ot the Cit7 tor at leaet six (6) consecutive months. Such leave shall be accumulated to a maximum accumulation or one hundred ninety- two (192) hours. (c) All elal.plo7eea in the classitied service working assigned periods of twenty-•. ·. tour (24) hours (Fire Department) shall be entitled to one hundred thirty-; nine and seven-tenths (139.7) hours ot annual leave each year. Annual leave · tor these eaployees shall accumulate at the rate or eleven and sixty-four ·"- hundredth• (11.64) hours per each month ot active serYice and may accumulate to a aaxlaua accumulation or two hundred seventy-nine and thirty-nine hundredths (279.39) hours. Qualitications tor annual leave shall be the saae as tor other employees. (d) Atter ten (10) years ot continuous service, regular employees will receive twelve (12) hours per month or active service and firemen will receive six- teen (16) hours tor each aonth or active service. Policemen will receive ten (10) hour• per •onth o~ active eervice. The maximum accumulation tor eaplo7eee workin1 tort7 (40) hour• shall be two hundred forty (240) hours, and tor tireaen shall be three hundred torty-nine and twenty-tour hundredths (349.24) hours respectively. Section 2. Section 4. That Title V, Chapter 6, Section 10, or the 1969 E.M.C. is hereby repealed and reenacted with aaendaenta to read as follows: '-6-10 SALARIES FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT CLASSIFICATIONS (a) The classified positions or the uniformed members of the Fire Department are hereby classified within the wage and salary schedule as set forth below.
