ltction 1. Section 6.7-18(a) Police Department, of the Municipal
Code of th• City of Bn9lewood i• hereby amended to read as follows:
•(a) Police Department. The work wMk for Police Department
-.ploy-• •hall be an average of 44 hour• a week. The work
achedul• ahall be determined .by.·. the Chief of Police with the
approval of the City Manager.•
S!ction 2. Section 6.7-18(b) Fire Department, of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bn9lewoocl ia hereby amended to read as follows:
•(b) Fire Department. Fire Department employee• ahall work an
average of 72.9 hours per week, plu• training aa required. The
work week •hall consist of alternate 24 hour •hift•. Bvery month
each fireman shall receive two day• off to bring the average of
•cheduled hours to 72.9 per week.•
89ction 3. Section 6.7-18(c) Utilitiea Plant, of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bnglewood is hereby amended to read as follows:
•(c) Utiliti•• Plant•. Operator• at the water filter plant and
sewage treatment plant ahall work an average of 40 hours per week.
The work schedule shall be determined by the Director of the
Utilitie• Department with the approval of the City Manager."
89ction 4. Section 6.7-18(d) Maintenance Crew•, of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bnglewood ia hereby amended to read a• follows:
• (d) Maintenance Crew•. All street, water, •ewer, Park Department,
Traffic Department, and signal maintenance employees •hall work an
average of 40 hour• per week. The daily work •chedule shall be
determined by the department head with the approval of the City
Manager. All City Rall maintenance employees •hall work the number
of hour• necea•ary to efficiently accompli•h the variable needs and
requirement• durinq each day, week or month.•
Ststion 5. Section 6.7-22(b) of the Municipal COde of the City of
ngl-..ood ia hereby amended by deleting therefrom aub-paragraph (2) thereof,
and by renumbering aub-paragrapha 3, 4, and 5 aa aub-paragrapha 2, 3, and 4
reapectively.
8tction 6. Section 6.7-22 Sick Leave, of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bnglewood ia hereby amended by adding thereto a new sub-section
(g), which ahall read aa followss
•(g) Service connected injury. In ca••• where an employee is off the
j ob a• a reault of a aervice-connected injury, the City will pay the
regular aalary of auch employee for a period of up to one week, which
W98k ahall not be deducted from the normal aick leave time of such
employ ... •
