Section 2. That sa i d pe t i t ion was si g ned by t he owners of more than fifty percent (50%) of th e area o f s u ch t erritory, who also com prised a majority of the landowners residin g in the said territory at the time the etition was filed. Section 3. That said p eti t ion was in all respects in conformity with the provisions of Art icle 11 , Cha p ter 1 39, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1953, as Amende a; that said p etition was f avorably considered by the City Council of said City of Engl ewood, constitutin g the legislative body of the munici- pality to which said t e r rito ry is pro posed to be annexed; that notice of the substance of the pe ti tion, the da t e o f signing, the number of persons signing, a descripti o n o f the terr itory included in the proposed annexation, and a statement that landown e rs of the area may express their o p position to the annexation and s e c ure a n e l ec tion by com p lying with the provisions of Section 13 9 -11-4, Col orado Revised Statutes, 1953, was published pursuant to statute. 313 Section 4. That said hereinabove described parcel or parcels of pro- perty be, and they hereby are, declared annexed to the City of EngLewood, Colorado, and are hereby made a p art o f the said C i ty, pursuant to the pro- visions of Article 11 , Cha p ter 139, Co l orado Revised Statutes, 1953, as Amended. Passed on First Reading by the Ci t y Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, this 17th day of October, A.O . 1960, and ordered published in ull in the Englewoo d Herald and Enter p rise.
