HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960 Ordinance No. 031Introduced as a Bill by Councilmen Braun and Kreiling BY AUTHORITY ORDINANCE NO. 31, SERIES OF 1960 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33, SERIES OF 1957, AS AMENDED, OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, KNOWN AS THE "MISCEL- LANEOUS OFFENSES ORDINANCE," BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION 1. 9 OF ARTICLE 1, MAKING UNLAWFUL CERTAIN ACTS IN, ABOUT OR ON ANY PUBLIC, PRIVATE OR PAROCHIAL SCHOOL, COLLEGE, SEMINARY GROUNDS OR BUILDINGS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO: Section 1. Ordinance No. 33, Series of 1957, as amended, of the ordinances of the City of Englewood, Colorado,,known as · the "Miscellaneous Offenses Ordinance," is hereby amended by adding thereto a new Section 1.9 of Article 1 of said ordinance, which shall read as follows: ''l.9 It shall be unlawful for any person to loiter, idle, wander, stroll, or play in, about, or on any public, private, or parochial school, college, or seminary grounds, or buildings, either on foot or in or on any vehicle, without having some law- ful business therein or thereabout, or in connection with such school or the employees thereof; or for any person to: Annoy, disturb, or otherwise prevent the orderly conduct of classes and activities of any such school; or Conduct himself in a lewd, wanton, or lascivious manner in SptPch or behavior in or about any such school build- ing or school grounds." Passed on First Reading by the City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, this 21st day of November, A.D. 1960, and ordered published in full in the Englewood Herald and Enterprise. Passed on Final Reading by the City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, this 5th day of December, A.D. 1960, and ordered published in full in the Englewood Herald and Enterprise. Beausang, City Clerk-Treasurer, City of Englewood, County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado, do hereby certify that the above and fore- going ordinance was introduced, read, passed and ordered published as a bill in the Englewood Herald and Enterprise at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 21st day of November, A.D. 1960, and that at least 7 days after above publication as a bill the above ordinance was approved, adopted and ordered published in said legal newspaper by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of December, A.D. 1960, as Ordinance No. 31, Series of 1960, of said City.
