ORDINANCE NO. 19, SERIES OF 1959
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 14, SERIES OF 1957, OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, KNOWN AS "SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS," BY ADDING THERE-
TO AN ADDITIONAL DEFINITION OF "INDUSTRIAL STREETS" AND SPECIFYING THEREFOR MIN-
IMUM RIGHTS-OF-WAY, MINIMUM ROAD WAYS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SIDEWALKS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO:
Section 1. Subsection S of Section 7 of Article I of Ordinance No. 14,
Series of 1957, of the ordinances of the City of Englewood, Colorado, is hereby
amended by adding thereto an additional subsection 5, which shall read as follows:
"5. Industrial Street. A street located in an industrial
district designed to serve industrial concerns by expedit-
ing safe movement of trucks and other industrial vehicles,
as well as customers and other traffic, primarily local in
character."
Section 2. Subsection J of Section 2 of Article II of Ordinance No.
14, Series of 1957, of the ordinances of the City of Englewood, Colorado, is
hereby amended by adding thereto the words "and industrial streets" in the third
line of "minimum rights-of-way."
Section 3. Subsection K of Section 2 of Article II of Ordinance No.
14, Series of 1957, of the ordinances of the City of Englewood, Colorado, is
hereby amended by adding thereto the words "and industrial streets" after the
words "arterial streets" in the definition of "minimum road ways," and by adding
the following at the end of said paragraph:
"Sidewalks, industrial: 4 feet, located against the back of
the curb. If an industrial street is also an arterial street,
the specifications for arterial street sidewalk location shall
apply."
Passed on First Reading by the City Council of the City of Englewood,
Colorado, this 18th day of May, A.D. 1959, and ordered published in full in the
Englewood Rerald and Enterprise.
Passed on Final Reading by the City Council of the City of Englewood,
Colorado, this 1st day of June, A.D. 1959, and ordered published in full in the
Englewood Herald and Enterprise.
