AN ORD I NANCE REZON ING T HE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM R-1-D (RESIDENTIAL)
TO M-1 (I NDUSTRIAL) CL AS SIFICATION, T O-WI T : WEST ·SIDE OF THE 3700 BLOCK ON SOUTH
INCA STREET BETWEEN S OU T H INCA STREE T AND THE INCA-JASON ALLEY, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCR I BED AS: LOTS 2 5 T HROUGH 48 INCLUSIVE, BLCX::K 6, LOGANDALE , CITY OF ENGLEWOOD,
ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLORADO .
BE IT ORDA I NED BY T HE CITY COUNCIL OF T HE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO:
WHEREAS, a p p lication heretofore has been made for the rezoning of certain
property hereinafter d escri b e d, wi th in t he City of Englewood, Colorado , from R-1-D
(Residential) to M-1 (Industrial) Classification, and the City Planning Commission
has recommended approva l o x such change in zoning; and ,
WHEREAS , pub l ic n ot i ce has b e en given of such proposed rezoning by one
publication in the E nglewood Herald and Enterpris~, a newspaper of general circula-
tion within the City, and the official newspaper of the C i ty, at least fifteen (15)
days before the public heari ng on such r ezoning, and notice of such proposed rezoning
has been posted on t h e p r ope rty for f i f teen (1 5 ) consecutive days prior to such
hearing, as required by Or d i nance ; and ,
WHEREAS, pub l ic he arin g wa s held pursuant to the aforesaid notice by the
City Council of the City of Englewood i n the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
334 5 South Bannock Street, E nglewood, Colorado, on the 3rd day of February, A.D.
1958, at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M., a t which hearing 9 persons appeared to
protest or oppose the pro p o se d chan g e i n zoning; and, ~-
WHEREAS, the publi c ne cessity, convenience, general welfare and good
oning practices jus tifies the c han ge in z oning of th e here i na f ter described
property from R-1-D (Residenti al) to M-1 (Industrial) classification;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T ORDAI NE D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, C010tlADO:
Section l. rhe zoni n g o f the h e re i nafter desc ri bed property, located
ithin the City of Englewoo d, Co lor ado, i s her e by changed from R-1-D (Residential)
to M-1 (Industrial) classific a t ion , t o-w i t:
West side of t h e 3 7 0 0 Block o n South Inca Street between
South Inca Street a nd the Inca-Jason alley, mor e part i cularly
described as: Lots 2 S t h r ou g h 48 i nclusive , Block 6 , Lo g andale.
Section 2. The Cit y Counci l hereby finds , determines and declares that
the hereinabove change in z o ni ng i s j u s t i fied by the public necessity, convenience,
eneral welfare and good z on i n g pract ices and that this ordinance is necessary for
the imme diate preservati o n of the p ubli c peace , health, safety and convenience.
Section 3. I n the op inion of the City Council an emergency exists;
therefore, this ordina nce sh all tak e effect and be in force from and after its
inal passage and publication.
Passed on Fi rs t Reading by the City Council of the City of Englewood,
this 17th day o f February, A.D. 195 8 , and ordered published in the
Herald and Enterprise.

Colorado, this 17th day of March , A .D . 1 95 8 , and ordered published in the
