AN ORDINANCE REZO NING T HE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM R-1-D (RESIDENTIAL) TO
C -2 (BUSINESS) CLASSIFICATION, TO-WIT: BEGINNING AT A POINT 50 FEET EAST, AND 193 FEET
NORTH OF THE SOUTHWES T COR NER OF SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 4 SOUTH, RANGE 68 WEST OF THE SIXTH
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN; THENC~ NORTH 65 .63 FEET; T HENCE NORTHEASTERLY ALONG GREENWOOD PARK-
AY 2 0 2.19 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 206.24 FEET; THENCE WEST 14 5 .0 FEET TO POINT OF BEGINNING,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO:
HEREAS, applicaLion hereLofore has been made for the rezoning of certain property
hereinafter described, within the City of Englewood, Colorado, from R-1-D (Residential) to
C-2 (Business) classification, and the City Planning Commission has recommended approval
of such change in zonin g; and
HEREAS, public notice has been given of such proposed rezoning by one publication in
the Englewood Herald and Enter prise, a newspaper oI general circulation within the City, and
the official newspaper of the City, at least fifteen (15) days before the public hearing on
ucb rezoning, and noLicc or sucl1 proposed rczonin~ has been posted on the property for fif-
teen (15) consecutive days prior to s uch hearin~, as required by ordinance; and
HEREAS, public hearing was held pursuanL to the aforesaid notice by the City Council
or the City of Englewood in the Counc i l Ch ambe rs of t he City Hall, 334 5 South Bannock Street,
nglewood, Colorado, on the 15th day of July, A.D. 19 5 7, at the hour of 8 o'clock P. M.,
a t which hearin2" no person appear ed to protest or oppose the proposed change in zoning; and
HEREAS, the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practices
justifies the ch an ge in zoning of the her einafter described property from R-1-D (Residential)
to C-2 (Business) classificaLion .
NOW, THERE FO RE, BE IT ORDA INED BY T HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO:
Section l . The zoning of t he hereinafter described property, located within the City
of Englewood, Colorado, is hereby changed from R-1-D (Residential) to C-2 (Business) classi-
fication, to-wiL:
Beginning al a point 5 0 feet EasL, and 193 feet North of the Southwest
corner of Sectio n 34, Town ship 4 So u t h, flange 68 West of the Sixth
Principal Meridi an; Lhence Nor th 6 5 .63 feet; thence Northeasterly along
Greenwood Parkway 202.1 9 feet; thence South 206.24 feet; thence West
14 5 .0 feet to point of be gi nning, Englewood, Arapahoe County, Colorado.
Section 2. The City Council hereby fin ds, determines and declares that the hereinabove
change in z oning is justified by the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good
zoning practices and that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health, s afety and convenience.
Section 3. In the opinio n of the City Council an emergency exists; therefore, this
ordinance shall take effect and b e in force from and after its final passage and publica-
tion.
Passed on First Reading by the Cit y Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, this
15th day of July, A. D. 1957, and ordered published in the Englewood Herald and Enterprise.
Passed on Final Rea ding by the City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, this
19th day of August, A. D. 19 5 7 , and ordered published in the Englewood Herald and Enterprise.
