L, Se r ies of 1912, entitled "An Ord i nance Prohi biting Assaults and Disturbances and prov iding pu nishment f or such offenses in the City of Englewood" is he reby repealed and the follow i ng s ub stituted the refor: "Section 2 . That any person who shall , i n t he c i ty of Englewood, assault or beat or strike or fight another , shall , upon convlction t~ere of, be fined not exceeding $JOO.CO or imprisoned not excee din~ 90 days for each a nd every such offense." Section 2 . . Sec tion 2 of O r di n a n c~ No. 5, Se r ies of 1 912, entitl ed "An Ordina nce Proh i biting DrWlke nes s within the City of Englewoo d" is he r eby re pe aled a nd the following s ubstitu ted therefor~ "Section 2 . Any pe rson vi olating any of t he p rovisions of th i s ord ina nce shil..l be fined not e xceeding tJ00 .00 or imprisoned not ex cee dj ng 90 day s fo r each and every offen~e". 'IHE Section 3 . Section 9 of Ordinan ce No . 9 , Se r ies of 1 912, e ntitled "An Ordinance to Prevent Quarreling or Fighting and Other Disorderly Co n du c t i n the City of En glewoo d , and Prohibi t ing the conduct of Disorderly Hous ee and Dance halls therein" is hereby repea le d and the following is substituted therefor: "Section 9 . Any pPr~on or persons vi olating a ny prov i s ion of thjs ordi nan ce ~ha ll, upon conviction be fined not exceeding $JOO .OO or imp r jsoned no t exceedi n g 90 days for each a nd eve-ry offense." Sectton L. "Section 2 . Secticn 5. 11 ordinances and parts of ordinanc es in confli ct herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6 . In the opinion of the City Council an eme rge ncy exi s t s; therefore, th i s ordinance shall ct and be in force from anrl after its final passage a n d publi cati on.
