Section 11. Every person conv icted of a vi o l ~ti on of any provision of t his Ordinance shall
be ounished bv a fine of not more than $300 .00 or by i mprisonment for not more than 90 days.
Se c tion 12 . Whenever any motor v ehicle without a driver , is found parked or stopped in
iolation of any of th 0 restrictions imposed by this Ordinance, the officer finding such
vehcile shnll take its registration numbe r .:md may take any other information displayed on the
vehicle which shall identify its user , and sho.11 conspjcuously affix to such vehicle a notice
in writine , on the form provided by the Chief of Police, for th.e driver to answer to the charge
i.nst him within seven nays at the Tr ri ffi~ Viol;itt ons Bureau .·
Section 13 .

oes not annear in response to a notice affixed to such motor veh i cle within a period
of seven (7) d.ays 1 the Traffic Violations Bureau shall send to the owner of the motor
vehi~le to which the n otice was a ff ixed, a notice inf ormine him of the violation.
(b) In the event such notice i s disregar ded for a period of five (5 ) days , a complaint .
and warrant of arrest issue d.
Section 1.L . S ection 31 , 32 and 33 of Ordinance No. 1 Series of 1937, Section 1 of Ordinance Ho.2,
Ser!e5 of 19L9, and all other ordinances anci parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
reoealed.
Section 15. If any section , subse c tion, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance is for any
reas on held to be unconstitutional , such decisions Rhall not affect the validity of this
Ordinance . The City Council hereby declares that it would have .passed this Ordinance, aid each
section , subsection , sentence , clause or phra se t hereof, irrespective of the fac~ that any one 1
or any section , subsection , sentenc e, clause or ph rase be d e clared unconstitutional.
The C~ty Council hereby finds , determines and declares this Ordinance is necessary
--~-----.~--ia te preservation of the public peace, health , safety and convenience.
Section 1 7. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists; therefore, t h is Ordinance
shall takE" effect and be in f orce from and after its f inal pa ssa e e and publica tion.
