BE I T ORDA IN ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLE OOD, COLORADO: Section 1: That Paragraph 2, Section (b), Article II of Ordinance No. 4, Series of 1952 a s above entitled, be and it is hereby, amended by striking therefrom the words: "three members appointed by the City Council of the City of Englewood, together with the Water Supt . and the City Manager as ex-officio members thereof :11 and substi tuting therefor , the words "four members appointed by resolution of the City Council of the City of Engle itJ ood, together with the Mayor and two members from t he City Council." Section 2: That Paragraph 2, Section (b), Article 1I, of Ordinance No. 4, Series of !952 as above entitled be, and it is hereby, further amended by adding to said Paragr ap h 2 a s follows, To-wit: "ln addi tion to its other duties, the water Advisory Board ~hall have authority to investigate both the legal and engineering phases of all possible sources of additional water and water rights for the City to deter- mine availability thereof for use by the City of Rn gle ~ood, and S'lall r ecommend to the City Council the a ction to be taken theron, i£ any; and further, said Water Advisory Board shall take all necessary action to assure tha t all present and future water rights be- longing tothe City of Englewood are protected and perfected by the legal and engineering steps required to so protect and perfect said rights . Section 3. The City Counc i l hereby finds, determines and declares that this ordlii&iice is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, s a f ety an d convenience. Section 4; In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists; therefore, this ordinance shall take eff ect and be in 'force from and after its final. passage and p ublication.
