point 50 feet West and 198 feet South of the Northea st corner of the Southeast
Quarter (SE!) of the Southwest Quarter (swt) of Section 34, Township 4 South,
Ran p;e 6 8 West of the 6thP .M. J thence South 89" 40 1 West 132 .5 feet; thence due South
7.3 feet; thence East 132 .5 feet ; thence due North 7 feet to point of be ginni ng, is
locat ed entirely uithin th e city limits of the City of En glewood, Co lora do, and does
not co nstitut e a boundary line between said City and any County or other municipality.
Section 2 . 'f hat the vacation of said portion of Greenwood Avenue will not
leave any adjoining land without nn established public road connecting said land
with ano ther est~blished pu blic road .
Se ction 3 . That that portion of Greenwood Avenue described as: begiBlling
at a point 50 f eet Wes t and 19 8 f eet South of the Northeast corner of the Southeas~
Quarter (SEi) of the Southwes t Quarter (SW~) of Secti on 34, Township 4 South, Range
68 West of the 6th P .M.; thence South 89°40 1 We st 132.5 feet; th ence due South 7.3
feet; thence East 132 .5 fee t; thenc e due Nor th 7 fe et to a point of beginning, be,
and it is hereby, ~?~l ar ed va cated, pursuant to t he provisions of Chapter 217, Session
Laws of Co lorado , 1949 , and title to s 3in vacated roadway shall vest in the owners of
t he abuttinf! land as provided by statute.
Section 4. Th e City Council hereby finds , detennines and declares that
th is Ordinance is ne cessary for the immedia te preservation of the public peace,
he alth, safety and convenience.
Section 5. In the op ini on of the City Council an emergency exists;
therefore , Lhis Ordina nce sha 1l tak e e f fect and be in f orce from and after its
final pa s sage ani publication .
