That Ordinance So. 3, Seriea or 1923, of the City ot Englewood, Colorado, entitled: ".&.D Ordinance relating to the public health at the City ot F.nglewood, Colorado, providing superviaicm protection, r egulation and inspecti un or all pip e s, traps, ticturea and appurtenances by and through which waste water or sewerage ia u de s or carried; provi d ing tor the licensing or plumber• in aaid City and th e appointment of a plumbing and sewer inspector and providing penalties for the violation ot said Ordinan ce~, be, and it is hereby, amended by striking trom Section 8 thereot, the wo~: "Each building within Sanitary Sewer District No. l, Englewood, «olor~do, within which ooo king shall be done, shall be provided with a grease trap", and substituting theretor, the word•: " A gre a..ee trap or interceptor shall be installed in every case in the City at Englewood, Colorado, upon the discharge lines or ewery dish-washing sink and every tixed receptacle or plumbing tixture designed, intended or used tor the purpose of washing diahea or cooking utensils of any sort in a restaurant, cateteria, lunch roan, hotel kitchen, aanitarium kitchen or similar eatablishment which Mnea or baa t he capacity to serve one hundred meals or more per day. Capacity to serve cme hundlK :i red meal.a or more per day shall be determind by a aerving or aeating capacity sutticent to satiety the needa or titeen or more patron at one time. Greaae traps or interceptors shall not otherwiae be required within the City of ~~glewood, provided, however, that grease traps or interceptor• ahall be required for any eouipment in any building in the City ot Englewood which will be used to dispose ot surplus amounts of greaae or grease containing liquid and the necessity for said grea .. trap ahall be d~t e rmind by the Plumbing Inapector ot the City of Englewood". S!CTIOI' 2. SECTIC!l All Ordinances or parts or Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. 3. The City Council hereby finds, determines an d declare s that this Ordinance is necessary tor th e immediate preservation of the pu 3lic peace, health, satety and aonvenience. • In t he opin ion ot the Ci ty Council an emergency exists; therefore, this Ordinance shall take ettect and be in force from and after its final passage and publication.
