OF SOOTH CLAR KSON STREE T TO THE EXTENDED EAST LINE OF THE DESIGNATED AIJ.EY IN BLOCK 8, M!u~SF U:LD AD DITION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITI' OF ElfGLENOOD, COLORADO& SECTION l. That the vacation of the South 6.2 feet of Eut Lehigh Avenue from the extended Weat right ot way line or South Clarkson Street to the extended East line or the dedicated alley in Block .....;..; I 8, Manstield Addition will leave no land without an established public road connection said land I with another established public road, and that said East Lehigh A.venue is located entirely within 1 the boundaries of the City of Englewood, Colorado, and that the vacation of said described por~ tion or East Leg1gh Avenue is essential to correct defective original surveys. SECTION 2. That the South 6.2 feet of East Lehigh Avenue from the extended West right of way line of South Clarkson Stre et to the extended East line of the dedicated alley in Block 8, Mansfield Addition be, and it is hereby, declared vacated, pursuant to Chapter 217, Session Laws or Colo- rado, 19~9, reserving, however, unto the Ci ty of Englewood, Colorado, all rights of way or easements for the continued use of now existing sewer, gas, water or similar pipe lines and appurtenanc es, and for now existing ditches or canals and appurtenances, .and for now existing electric, telephone and similar line and appurtenances. SECTION 3. The City Council hereby finds, determines 9lXi declares that this Ordinance is necesaary tor th e immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and convenience. SECTION 4. In the opinion ot th e City Council an emergency exists; therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force froffi and after its final passage and publieation.
