BE rr ORDAINED BY THE crry COUNCn. OF THE CITY OF mGLEWOOD, COLORADO:
SEX:TION l.
That there be, and th e re is hereby, established in the City of Englewood, Colorado, a
Sanitary Sewer District to be designated as Extension No. 7, Englewood Sanitary Sewer.
SECTI01' I.
That the area designated as such Ex tensi on No. 7 Sanitary Sewer, is described as Blocks
26, 39, 42 and 44, South Il roa.d way Heights, now vacated, the westerly portion of which has been re-plated
as the ;/est One-half of J l oc k 3 7, South Br oadway Hei ght s, Se cond Filing.
3.
The rates and charges for installation of Sanitary Sewer in Extension No. 7 shall be:
For Blocks 26, 39 and 42, South Broadway Hei ghts, the sum of ~77.00 per lot, and for Block 37, South
Broadway Height s, now vacated, and Bl ock 44, South Bro adway Heights, $8'1.50 ::per !lot ( a lot being defined
as an area 25 feet in width and 125 feet in lenght).
SECTION 4.
The rates and charg es hereinabove fixed shall be paid to the City Treasurer of the City of
Englewood in cash, or by the sie ning of a promissory installment note bearing six per cent interest, on
or before thirty days fran the date of final passaee of this Ordinance.
Upo n ta.ilure to pay within the time set forth or upon default or the terms of any promis-
sory note executed hereunder, the City Clerk sh all certify to the County Commissioners of Arapahoe County
the rates and ctargcs du e , an d S3id rat es an d charees due, and said rates and charges shall become a lien
upon the real property served by said Sanitary Sewer and be collected in the manner as though they were a
part or the taxes.
S!CTIC!f 5.
The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares that this Ordinance is necessary
tor the i .mmediete preservation of the public peace, health, safety and convenience.
SECTION 6.
In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists: Therefore, this Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its Final Passage and publication.
Passed on First Reading by the City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, this 10th day
of October, A. D. 1949, and ordered published in the Englew o od F.nterprise.
Passed on F in a l Reading by th e City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, this 14th day
of November, A. D. 1949.
