The Llayo r or t he Cit y of Englewo od is h e reby authorized to execute a ratification or an aereem• n t between th e County of Arapa hoe and the City and County or :Je nver en- titled "Gene ral Cooperation Agre eme nt '', sai d a greement having been entered into by th e Coun ty of Arap ah oe and Gi t y and Gounty of Denver on Apr i l, 5, 1948. SE<n'IO?l 2. Said r atification to b e exec ut ed by the liayor of the City of En glewood shall read ae follor7s, to-wit: "i'lHERI~AS, on or a.bout April 5, 1948 , the City and County of' Denver, and Arapahoe Count y Co lorado, entered into an agreement entitled " General Coo oe ration Agree- ment" containing certain prerequi s ite zoning, building , planning and sewage condi- tion s to be p e rform ed in case of a request for water supply or additional water sup ply from Den v e r for any tract of land in an area in the County not served with water by Denver, and •. 'HEREAS, t he Cit y of 3 n p,lewood, Colorado , a municipal corporation, is situate within the boundary of said Co unt y of Arap ahoe , and is desirous or cooperating with both the ity and County of De nve r and the Cou ~t y of A.rBpahoe for the improvement and better- ment or th e entire me trop o litan aera; No ·.1 , 'I!rR.:FOilli , in considerati on of th e premises the City of Englewood .hereby rati- fi e s s a i d agreement ex e cuted by and betwee n the City and Counc y of Denver mn the Count y of Ara "'abo e ( a cop y of which apre enE nt is attached hereto) and hereby con- sents to be bound b y the sl3.Dle, up on and subject to the following conditions e.nd re- s e rvations: 1. This ratification is execut e d without prejudice to any rights that the said City of Englewood consume rs and would-b e consum e rs therein, have or would have, prior to or in th e absence of this ratif ication, with resp e ct to th e service of wat er by the City and Cou nt y of De nve r and as to rates therefor. 2. In so far as the attached contract effects the City of Englewood the effect of this ratific a tion is to place all the duties and rights set forth in said contaaot, so tar as th ey may relate to th e City of Engl e wood, upon and in the said City just as if the s ame contract ori ginally had b een ex~cute u with the City instead of the County of Arap ah o e .
