OF TH E CIT Y OF ENGLEVIOOD' ARAPAHO E COUNTY' COLO- RADO, That: SECTION 1 • The Cit y of ~nglewo od, Co lorado, shall acquire a aunicipall.y own e d syst em of waterworks tor tire and dome st ic purposes, to be ovme rl and operated by said City. SECT IO N 2. The property to be acqu ired for such syst em is an adequate water supply for ssid City and its inh ab i t ants, extensions of 'llld improv eme nts to the present water distribution syetem, pre- ssure stati ons , pumpin g equipment, me asuring devi ces, office furniture and fixtures, supplies, structures, transportation , laboratory e quipme nt, tool• and such appurtenances, equipment and in- cidentals as will provide a co mp lete and ade qu ate waterworks system. SECTION 3 . The full purchase price to be paid for such property shall not exceed ~l,500,000. , the exact am ount depending on proposals to furnish work and material after public notiee there- ~er. SECTION 4. Th e method of payment for the property to be acquired is by means of general obligation bonds or s a id City, as he r einafter provi ded . How ever, it is proposed to apply all net revenue to b e derived from the operation of said system in payment of bonds issued and interest thereon. ' I I SEOl.'ICJI 5. Thi• Ordinance shall not becane effective until it has been sub~itted to an election held tor th a t purpose and bas been approved by a majority or those voting who are qualified pl"O- perty electors or said City and who ahall in the next year preceding the year or election have paid a propert y tax therein.
