K ORDINANCE Af PBOPRIATING SUMS FOR ALL MUNICIFAL PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, F OR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY l, 1945, •ND
ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1945, CONSTITUTING WHAT IS TERMED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIA•
TION BILL FOR THE FISCAl YEAR 1945.
BE IT ORDA I NED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD,:
SECTION 1, That there be and there hereby is appropriated from the
revenues derived trom taxation in the City ot Englewood, Colorado, trom the
collections ot licenae tees and from all other sources or revenue during the
year beginning January 1, 1945, and ending December 31, 1945, the amounts
hereinafter aet torth tor the objects and purposes specified and set opposite
thereto, res pe ctively, aa follows to-wit:

SECTION 2 , That all moneys in the hands of the City Treasurer or to
come into his hands for the fiscal year of 1945,may be applied on outstanding
le ~a l claims now due, or to become due, tor the said fiscal year 1945.
SECTI ON 3. th~t all unappropriated moneys that may come into the
hends of the City Treasurer during the fisc a l year 1945, may be so distributed
&Qong the r espec tive tunda herein as the City Council may deem best under such
control as is p rescribed by law. ·
SECTION 4. Tha t during and a t t~e c lo se of t he fiscal year 1945, any ·
surplus money in any of t :1e res pective funds,atter all claims for 1945 against
the same have been paid, may be distributed to any other fund or funds in the
discretion ot the City Council.
SECTI ON 5. The City Council hereby finds, determines, and declares
that this ordinance is necessary tor the immediate preservation of the public
Peace, Health and Safety.
SECTION 6. In the op inion ot the City Council an emergency exists,
therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
final passage and publication.
