AT PAGE 21, IN THE O~FICE OF THE CLERK AND RECOREER OF ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLORADO, SAVE AND EXCEPT THE PORTIONS NECESSARY TO EXTEND GRANT STREET AND TO EXTEND THE PUBIIC ALLEY BETWEEN GRANT AND LOGAN STREETS, THROUGH SAID STRIP OF 1AND HERETO- FORE DEDICATED AS lINVAlE STREBT. WHEREAS, It is hereby found and determined that the public use, con- venience and necessity has not for a long time past re~uired and does not now require Linval e Street, between the west line of Logan street and the east line of Sherman street, as shown on the official Plat of Blocks 7,8, 9, and 10, of Annandale, in Plat Book A•l, at page 21, in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Arapahoe County, Colorado, save and except ahe por- tions necessary to extend Grant Street, and to extend the public alley be- tween Grant and Logan streets, through said strip of land heretofore ded- cated as linvale Street: NOW THEREF ORE E IT ORDAINED ~y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO: S ECTI ON 1. That linvale Street, between the west line of logan Street and the e ast-Yine of Sherman Street, as shown on the Official Plat of Blocks 7,8,9, and 10, of Annandale, in Plat Book A-1, at page 21, in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Arapahoe County, Colorado, save and except the portions of said street necessary to extend Grant street and to extend the public alley betwe en Sherman and Grant Streets and the public alley bet- een Grant and Logan Streets, through said strip of land heretofore dedicated as linvale Street , in the City of tlnglewood. Arapahoe County, Colorado, be and the same hereby is vacated. SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declared that this Ordinance-is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety. SECTION 3. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists; there- fore, thTi Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after final passage and due publication thereof.
