Ali ORDINANCE CREATING A SINKING FUND FOR THE RBTIREWENT OF BONDS ISSUED
BY TH& CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, ·FOR SPBCIAL IMPROVEMENTS IN CERTAIN
DlPROVKlilENT DISTRICTS IN SAID CITY, THE PAYWUIT 01 WHICH WERE GUARANTEED
BY THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, AND LEVYING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF
.0005 UPON THE ~SSESSED VALUATION OF THE PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY OF
BBGLBWOOD, COLORADO, AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF THE SAME.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ·OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO.
SECTION 1. That whereas the City of Englewood, Colorado, has heretofore
by ordinance guarant•ed the payments of certain bonds for special public
IJiproYemente witHin certain improvement districts within the City of Englewood,
Colo~ado, and in which districts were levied apeoial taxes, whioh were
preaumed to be sufficient to pay said bonds.
SBCTION 2. And whereas it has been shown to the City Council of the
City of .Englewood, Colorado, by the holders of such special improvement
bonda that the taxes collected from the special assessments will not be
aufficient to meet the principal and interest due on said special improve-
ment bonds at maturity and that a deficit will exist which the City of
Englewood, Colorado, will be called upon to pay.

SB CTION 3. That there is hereby levied upon all of the property within
the City of Englewood, Colorado, one-half Ct> mill Ct.0006) ot the asaeaeed
Yaluation of said property to be collected each year b7 'the Cow.~1 Treasurer
with the general taxes and the moneys derived therefrom shall be held by
the City Treasurer in a sinking fund and used only for the ur ose o

SECTION 4. The City Council hereby finds, determines and deoaarew that
this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health and safety.
In the opinion of the City Council an emerganay exists; therefore,
this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

Passed, approved and ordered published November 18, 1929.

of Englewood, County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado, do hereby certify
that the above and foregoing Ordinance waa introduced and read in full,
and on resolution the same waa ordered published as a proposed ordinance
for the City of Englewood, Colorado, and same was ordered published at an
Adjourned Regular Meeting of October 28, A.D. 1929, held by the City
Council on said date, and same was published in the Englewood Monitor
in its issue of October 31, A.D. 1929, and for more than ten days thereafter
and at a subsequent Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council held
