That Section l of an Ordinance entitled, "Ordinance !lumber 8, Series of
1921," An Ordinance relating to · buildings, their oonetruotion9 removal, alter-
ation and repairs and the inspection of the same; also establishing consolidated
fire district No. 1, of the City of Englewood, its bounderiee and providing for .
the e:xtention of the swne and regulatinE? the erection of nshpits, the construction
and repair of buildings and structures therein and regulating the construction
o! askpits and storage of conbustible and eaploeive materials in said district
and concerni ng the removal of buildings therein,'' be and the sarne is hereby ~
amended t o read as foll ows: 1 ·
SEC '.(I uH 2.
11 that portion of the City of ~nglewood, Colorado, eabraced within the
follwing described lir:iits shall be J:nown and designated as consolidated Fire
District Uo . 1, to-witt:
Beginning at a point where the Hor th line of Kenyon Avenue intersects the
&set line of South Broadway in said Ci ty; thence East one hundred and twenty-
!ive (125) feet; thence llorth on a line parallel with the East line of South
Broadway t o the South line of East Yale Avenue; thence ~est along the South line
of Yale Avenue to a point one hund.red and twenty-five ( 126) feet West of the
est line of South Broadway; thence ~outh parallel with the West line of South
Broadway to the Ho rth lino of Kenyon Avenue; thence 38.st along the North line
of Kenyon avenue to the place of beginning.
S~C '~l Ull 3.
All Ordinanoes and parts of Ordinances of the City of Englewood, Colorado,
in conflict with this Ordinance ar e hereby repealed.
S~CT IUll 4.
In the opinion of the City Council of the City of Englewood, Colorado, and
by reason of the fact that it is necessary for the irmediate preservation of
the public health, peace and safety of the inhabitants of the City of Engiewood,
this ordinance shall be in force and take effeot icmediately after its final
passage and publication as re1uired by law, and shall not be subject to the
referendum provisions of Chapter 97 of the laws passed at the 19th Session
of the General Assembly of the State ?f Colorado.
