WH~EAS, the City Council of the City of Jmglewood, has heretofore passed
an ordinance entitled,"An Ordinance approving the whole coat of the local improve-
ments constructed in and by virtue of Bnglewood Sidewalk District Number One, and
approving the apportiorunent of said coat to the several lots or tracts of land in
said District in proportion to the actual benefits accruing to the several lots or
tracts of land in said District and assessing the share of said cost against the
several lots or tracts of land in the said District in proportion to the benefits
and prescribing the manner of pay~ent and collection of said assessments", which
ordinance being ordinance No. 32, Series 1926, and
WHEREAS, said ordinance failed to state the date when the first installment
of principal should be due and p~ablo in the event of election to pay said assess-
ment in installments.
NOW, THEHEl!,OilE , BE IT OiiDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Englewood
that in the event of an election to pay the assessment in ~glewood Sidewalk
District Nucber Une in installments the assesamcnt shall be payable in twenty (20)
annual installments of principal, the fisst of which installments shall be due on
the first day of Ap ril 1~27, and the remainder of the installments shall be due
and payable with interest in all cases on the unpaid principal of said installments
until the maturity thereof at the rate of 5% per annum, payable annually.
