plan and a g rees t o fu rni s h resources and f a ci l i ties to re nder
s ervices to the o th er i n t~e event of unutiu al major occurrences ;
h ow e v er , no party s hall be req u ired t o deplete its o wn resources
unr ea so nab ly; es t ablishe s prov isio ns as t o wh e n emergency assistancu
may be req ues ted; the v alue of the service s shall be eq ual to each

municipal :orporations, and othe r public agencies operating in th e state of

a id and assist eac~ other in the ev ent that an unu~ual 111ajor occurrence or
e111ergency s ituation should occur, by th e inte rchang e of po l ice and sheriffs'
se r vices and facilities;
WHEREAS , it is necessary a nd desirabl e that a 111utu a l aid agree111e11t be exec uted
for the inte r change of s uch mutual a id on a local , countywide, re gional,

WHEREAS, Se ~~ions 29-5-103 to 29-5-111 Colorado Re vised Statutes, 1973, pro -

za tio11 of a ll it s resources a nd fa c ilities to cope with any type
of unu s ua l 111ajor occurrence or emer ge ric y situati on that shall be
known ilS an Emergen cy Operati on s Pl un .
2 . Each party agrees to furnish re so urces and faci lities and to render
servi ces to e ach und e very other pa rty to th e il gree111en t in the
case o f un usual 111ajor occurren ce or en h?rgency situati on in accordanc e
wit h duly adopted mutua l aid operation,1 1 plan ;, whether heretofore
or here ,1 fter adopt ed, detai 1 ing the me t hod an d manner by whi ch s uch
re so u,·ces , fac iliti es , and se,·vi ces arc • to be 111ade availabl e an d fur -
nishe d; provided , however, th a t 11 0 par t y sha l l be requ ired to de plete

3. The requesting party will no t reque st a id fro11 an assist i ng par t y
until the r equesting pa rty has co111mitted one hundred (100) per cent
o f it s r esources to the emergency s ituation. Thi s provis ·on, howe ver,
