ASSIGN CERTAIN DUTIES TO THE CITY CLERK.
WHEREAS, because of the increase in the workload of the
of fice of Director of Finance ex officio City Clerk-Treasurer, City
Council desires to create a separate division of City Clerk under
the Di rnctor of Finance; and
WHER&AS, to separate the duties of the City Clerk fran those
of the Director of Finance, it is necessary to anend the Englewood
i'lln icipal Code where there are references to duties of the Director
of Finance ex officio Cl ty Clerk-Treasurer;

Section 3. That Title 5, O!apter 3A, Section 3, Subsect i on F,
of the Engle-.orxl M.micipal Code 1985, is hereby amended to read as
follows:

l lcenses and shall Issue all licenses granted by the Authority,
upon re:ceipt of such license fees Jnd taxes as are required by
law and this Code, The City Clerk shall serve as the official
secretary of th<> Authority and shall des ignate a person or
persons to provide the necessary secret:drial and reporting
services for the Authority, The City Clerk or his designate
shall attend the meetings of the Authority, All public notice
by l'\)blicat i on in a newspaper and by the posting of signs, as
required by the Colorado Liquor Code, shall be accanplished by
the <: '! Clerk.
All other subsections in 5-3A-3 remaiu unchanged.
Section 4, Th"t Title 11, O!apter l, Section l, Subsection A,
of the Englewood l'llnicipal Code 1985, is hereby changed to read as
follows:
11-1-1: ADOPI' ION OF CODE:
A. Pursuant to section 44, article V of the Englewood Hane ~le
O!arter, and title 31, article 16, parts l and 2, C,R.S. 1973,
as ill\ended, th-.ce is hereuy adopted by reference articles I to
XXVI, Inclusive of the 1977 Fdition of the "Model Traffic Code
for COlorado l'lln l cipalities," pranulgated and publiahed as such
by the State Department of Highways , 4201 E, Arkllnsas Avenue,

Traffic Code relates primarily to canJ;ICehensive traffic control
regulations for the City. '!be purpose of this Olapter and the
Code adopted herein is to provide a systan of traffic
regulation consiutent wl th State law and generally confo011ing
to similar regulations throughout the State and nation. 'lbree
(3) copies of the l't>del Traffic Code adopted herein are now
filed in the office of the~-•-ef Pttla~ eot effieie City
Clerk o( the City and may be inspected during regular business
hours.
