authorized to collect a n emerge ncy te l ep hone charge as
imposed by the governing bodie s of the cont ra cti ng parties
in an amou n t no t to exceed T wo Pei:cent ( 2%) of the tur if f
ra e or .50 cents per mo n th, whi c h ever is less, in those
portions of the service ar ea for which e mergency telephone
ser vi ce is to be provided. Th e fu nd s so collected shall be
spent sole ly to pay for the e qui p me nt costs, t he in stalla -
tio n costs , r e p ai r a nd maint e n ance costs , and for the
mo nLhly re c u r ring charr1c:; b il l ed by th e s ervice and /or

Report of th e Autho ri t y 's activities a nd f inances during the
p recedi ng year .
Th e Authorit y s hall also pr epa r e and presen t s uch
reports as may be r e quir e d by law , r e gulation o r co n tract to
any au t ho rized federal and/or s ate off i c i a l s or to whom
s uch repo rt is r e quir e d to be made in the course and ope ra-
tio n of t he E-911 Emerge ncy Telephone Service Authority.
Th e Auth or ity shall also render to the contract ing par-
t i es her eto , at rea sonabl e in ·e rv als , s u e !, report s a nd
a c co u11ting a s the co ntracting parti es may fro m tim e to time

XII. DEFAULT IN PERFOR MAN CE
In th e .e vent any co ntra cti ng party fails to pay its
.s har e of th e admini s trativ e or operating costs when due, or
t o pe rform any of it s covenants a nd undertaki ngs under th is
