IIIEm'JIS, the City of Englelo<lOd entered into an Intergovenvmmtal l\greelt'ent with all cities, towns and fire districts within tllf' incorporated and unincorporated area of Arapahoe COUnty for creation and ,. -t ablisl"lnent of the E-911 Authority; and tm:REAS, said Authority was created to f11eilitate the ,!(JUiprent accr-usition, maintenance and operation for the E-911 System throughout Arapahoe County; an6 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Intergovermental Agreement, said Authority is to set the llll'OUl\t of the emergency teleplOl'le charge to be inp:)sed by the county, cities and towns; and WHEREAS, t.'le Authority has net and set an e,,ergency telephone charge of $.45 per m::mth, "'hich charge is oot in excess of two percent of the tariff rate; and WHEREAS, Council has determined that the benefits of the E-911 System to the citizens exceed the $.45 per rronth charge; NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CXlUNC'.L OF THE CITY OF EllGLEN'.XlD, CXlLOOADO, 'rnl\T: section 1. The authority vu created to facilitate the '!qulpment acquisition, maintenance and operation for the E911 system throughout the authority area. Pursuant to that intergovernment ~gree11ent, the authority was to set the emergency telephone charge, to be imposed by the county, citiu and towns.
