fllstorlcal Background: Th is site was zoned Industrial sometime I n the late 140 1 s and was never actually part of the City Park . The site WIS t o be the
location of a restaurant and an auto seralce business, and It WIS the opinio n
of the City that there was no need to rezone the site when Cinderella City was
being constructed, because the proposed uses ware permitted un der the In-
dustrial classification.

Skippers Su Foodestaurant. The 1-1 (light lndustrl~l) zoning class1f1ca-
t1on 1s not ntedtd for this site to comply with 1ts current lu,d use. It is,
therefore, reco111111ndtd that the 1-1 classifi cation be chJnged to B-1 (Bus1-
n111). The proposed change would provide for mor·e uniform zoning around the
C1nd1rtllla City Complex, u well as confonn to the uniform zoning request out -
Hntd 111 the 1979 Comprehensive Plan.
