AN ORDINAN CE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY, SAID
PROP ERTY BEING COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE GREENHOUSE AND
LOCATE D AT 2540 WEST UNION AVENUE, ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO .
WHEREAS , the prop ~rty is no longer necessary for municipal purposes;
a nd
WHEREAS , it is in the best interest of the City to sell the property; and
WHEREAS, the property was advertised for sale a nd op en bid s, a nd an
acce ptable bid was received; and
WHEREAS, the highest bid was from Waste Management of Denver South;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS:
~-The City of Englewood shall sell and deed to Waste Management
of Denver South real property described as follows :
Arapahoe County, State of Colorado. A tract ofland in the Northeast
1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 8, Township 5 South, Range 68 West
of the 6th P .M. described as follows: Bebinning at a point on the
North line of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 which is 34 4.2 feet
Wes t of the Northeast comer c f t he Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4,
th en Sout h O degrees 08 minutes east 627 fe et to a point, thence North
89 degrees 52 minutes West 121 feet to a point, thence North O degree s
08 minutes west 627 feet to a point on the North line of the Northeast
1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, then ce along the North line of the Nort h east
1/4 oftbe Southeast 1/4 No rth q9 degrees 52 Minutes eas t to the poi nt
of beginning, excluding the North 36 feet for road purposes as
de scribed in Book 1689 at Page 246 of the County of Ar a pahoe r eco rds,
contai ning 1.65 acres more or less .

sign and attest said deed and other appropriate documents for and on behalf of the
City of Englewood.
