WHEREAS, the title co mpany requires grants of easement to the City of Eng lewood for a
stonn sewer and wa ter lin e; and
WHEREAS , thi s area has an easement by pre scri ption , not reco rd ed right s-of-way, which
allows the City to maint ai n the ditch and utilities but does not all ow for im provements; and
WHEREAS, th e Util iti es Department is atte mptin g to acquire fonna l easements to allow
it to make impro veme nts as nece ssary; and
WHEREAS , the Englewood Water and Sewe r Board , at its May 14 meeting,
recommended that th e City accept the stonn sewe r easement and the water lin e ease ment from
EEF.
