8. The rights granted Licensee hereunder ma y noc be assigned without the written conse nt
of the City .
9. Licensee shall com pl y with all appli ca bl e laws and ordinances and all rules , regulations
and requirements of any enviro nmental standards and co nd iti ons of the premises. If, as a result of
Licensee 's occ upanc y of the premises and its operation hereund er, any such law . ordinanct:, rule
or regulation is violated , Licensee shall protect, save harmless, defend and indemnify City from
and against any penalties . fines , costs and expenses, including legal fees and coun costs in curred
by City, caused by, resulting fro m, or COMl!Cted wi th such violation or vio lations .
ln granting the above ,uthorization. City reserves the right to mak e fu ll use of the
property involved as may be necessary or convenie nt in the operation of the water works plant
and syste m under co ntrol of City .
