The lowest and beet bid shall be accepted or all bids will be rejected. If th.e lowest bid is not accepted as being the best. such reiection must be approved b Council. Provisions in thia Section shall not apply to professional or technical services, or services of regulated public utilities. All invi tations to bid shall require bidde to meet the requirements of State Statutes regarding preference of State products." (Emphasis added); and WHEREAS , the Englewood City Council is adopting an ordinance pro,1ding for general exceptions; and WHEREAS, a s a general exception tbe thre11bold for competitive bidding for Enterpriee Funds shall be rni ed to $50 ,000 ; and WHEREAS. oompetitfre bidding for these items iB inefficient WJ.ce there is usually only one supplier of these product.a : OW , THEREFORE. AS FOLLOWS : ~-The City Council of the City of Englewood , Colorado baa re\!lewed and hereby autbonzes raising the dollar amount to in exce of $50 ,000 for competitive bidding is required purs uant to Section 113 , of t he Englewood Home Rule Charter for Enterprise Funds.
